So here is it is at last. A tour of campus. Took long enough. I’m sure you were starting to think that it wasn’t ever really going to happen. So here’s what I am going to do. There are a LOT of pictures and in an attempt to save some of you a lot of trouble with your computers crashing because of the sheer load of data I’m going to use the more function. When you click more below you shall be taken to the tour and there are probably over fifty pictures in there. So make sure if you know your computer is slow, don’t have any other programs up and running. And if its your internet that is slow make sure that the only thing that the internet is trying load is that page. It’s huge. Also, if that still doesn’t work, send me an email, and maybe I can put up a text version, with minimal pictures. So here we go. If this works I’ll be really impressed.

I got all the tour pictures uploaded, and I was right there are a lot of them.  But when I came to log into Wordpress earlier there was an error.  Something about it couldn’t access the database.  So then I had to go through this whole thing with the Support chat thing that Startlogic does and then that guy couldn’t fix it, so he had to forward my info to someone else.  And I only just know found Wordpress fixed.  Except now, I only have an hour to update my blog which means it just isn’t going to happen.  I’m going to start working on it now, but don’t hold your breath.  I’ll try to get it up tomorrow.  Honest!  I was totally going to be productive today and get it done for you but I guess the internet had different plans.  Sorry about that.

I was going to finally post the tour that I photographed for you guys today, except that I’ve been editing pictures for the past two hours and I haven’t even gotten to Daniel’s dorm yet!  So yeah that post is going to be massive.  I don’t have all evening to stay here and upload pictures, but I’ll keep editing pictures without uploading them, so that when I can get back to the library, it will simply be a matter of uploading.  THEN I’ll tackle actually writing the thing.  I’m telling you its going to be HUGE.  I’ll figure out how to work the More tag and put it behind a cut so that the page will still load with relative ease and you know exactly what you are in for when you do click that link to open up the whole thing.  I’ll explain everything in the beginning of that actual post so that you know whats going on.

About My Day

So I had my four hour class today, which was to bad because we had a excursion today.  We went to a place called Zecher Zoellen, which is a cool little former industrial site.  It is beautiful!  The owner of the factory had a lot of money and decided that just because they had a dirty hard labor job, that was no reason why they couldn’t work someplace beautiful.  And it is.  Wait till I get the pictures up!  (Which I can’t do today because I spent my time trying to do the tour thing.  Sorry.)

Tonight Daniel and I are going to make dinner and watch some more Firefly.  Not a bad day.  Well I better get going, I got things to buy for dinner and not long to get there.

Day started out fine.  No class.  So I got to sleep in.  then Daniel and I went and got rotisserie chicken and had chicken and mashed potatos and gravy for our Thanksgiving Dinner.  A brazilian guy joined us and shared a dessert from his country.  A block of Guava jelly, it was weird looking but delicious.  After that though, I was supposed to call my parents in West Virginia, but I guess the number I was given was wrong because I got a wrong number.  And I tried to find my aunt’s number online but I couldn’t, and then my parents cell phones don’t work because they are way out in the middle of nowhere, so yeah, big fat failure.  I sent them an email explaining that I tried but couldn’t find them.  Maybe somehow they’ll find me.  But now it’s 25 after so…

Nothing much is happening just the usual grind.  I sleep as late as I can get away with, grab breakfast at the bakery (if it’s early enough), go to class, hang out with Daniel, sleep.  Nothing much really intresting.  I walked around the university and took pictures, kind of a tour for you guys.  Haven’t uploaded them yet (so lazy!) but they do exist so it is possible that someday you will get to see them.  I wouldn’t exactly call the weather balmy but it is warmer than it was last week, which is nice.  Tomorrow I don’t have a poetry presentation, so I get to just sit back and watch, woot.  In other news, I really want a Kindle.  It’s an eBook.  A rather fabulous sounding eBook.  A rather fabulous sounding $400 eBook.  Basically you can read about it yourself, main idea: something the size of a trade paperback, wireless network, stores up to 200 books, CURRENT books (I’ve looked).  I want one, but I’m going to save up, and maybe in the summer I’ll buy one.  That should give them time to work out any kinks that pop up imedietally after the public gets their hands on it, and it gives me time to read proper reviews about it.  This however is not a promise or a specific timeline, believe you me, if I had $400 to spend I would so TOTALLY buy the thing right now, the bugs don’t even matter.  But for now I will content myself to wait and lust.  In other news if you see a book called The Book Thief BUY IT.  Just finished it, and it is quiet brilliant.  Made me cry, so ye be warned.  Well alright, it 1:34 in the morning.  Beddy bye time for me!
