Mom said I had to post in my blog if I wanted to use the computer.  So here’s the payment.  I’m up in Madison for the day and Mom, Becka, and I are going to do girly things like shop for shoes and dresses.  It’s mostly wedding stuff.  Which reminds me I need to call City Hall.

 Jeff and I are supposed to be signing the lease next week to get our very own apartment.  No more roomates!  The apartment is a little smaller than our current apartment but more than two hundred dollars cheaper.  It’s a two bedroom, two bath, no dishwasher, but washer/dryer hookups apartment.  Mom says its a roomate apartment.  I’ll have a library/study!  We are going to put all of my bookshelves in the other bedroom, along with my reading chair and computer.  It’s going to be fabulous.  We are both really excited.

I had to go to work today.  But it was still a great day.  Here’s why.

First I slept until eleven this morning, which considering I didn’t go to bed until 1:00 or 1:30 isn’t to terrible.  When I got up we began cooking in.  We had brats and corn and baked beans.  the company was excellen,Jeff and two of our friends, and then we watched Planet Earth in Bluray.  That was really fun.  Then I went to work.  That would normally suck butI had a long shift today and I got paid time and a half.  So I’m just doing my Target thing when a woman gets in my line with her husband and daughter.  I[’m like ‘Hm, she looks a lot like someone I used to know.  Nah, couldn’t be her…’ I finally get up the courage to ask and lo and behold it is!  I hadn’t seen her in maybe 6 or so years.  It was amazing.  I had never met her daughter.  She lives close by too!  She gave me her email address and phone numbe.  I am so excited!  After work Jeff and I went down the street to a bar and grill and I had myself some delicious fires and a mojito, which was delicious as well.  Now I shall go to bed.  Night night!

So Jeff and I are on our way to see the new Wolverine movie followed by lunch at an as yet to be determined location.  Afterward we are heading to the Birmingham Crawfish boil.  Its a concert… where you eat crawfish.  I’ve never gone, and I don’t like crawfish, but one of my favorite bands of all time, All-American Rejects are going to be there.  I am so excited!  It’s supposed to rain tonight but I fear not water for ‘lo I have a poncho!  To amuse myself between bands that I do NOT wish to hear I am brining reading material.  My Kindle inserted in a plastic Ziploc bag, double zip.  It still functions perfectly but it should be protected from the rain.  God I love my Kindle!  I could never do that with a real book and still be able to turn the pages.  Anyway, got to go the movie starts inlike 30 minutes.  See Ma I do post.  Occasionally.
